I am so proud to be working for Tomball ISD. This is my 28th year in education. I have taught in Waller ISD, Cy-Fair ISD, and Klein ISD. I have worked with kindergarten through 6th grade and have worked with GT, ESL, and special needs. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1992.

I am married and have 3 daughters. My husband, Rick, works for the College for Biblical Studies and also runs our family Business WoodWerx. Our oldest daughter, Kaylee, is 23.  She earned a degree in Business Management at Lone Star College and is now working towards certification in Sonography.   Lauren is 21 and is currently studying at Lonestar as well. Our youngest, Grace, is 15 years old. She is in 9th grade at Tomball Memorial High School and is active in the RBB Color Guard, Choir and Theatre. All 3 of our daughters have been in the GT clusters/advanced level classes since kindergarten.

I love spending time with my family. I have taught Sunday school, Missions, and VBS at our church and been involved in the music ministry. My husband and I enjoy designing and creating wood carvings, metal art and much more... a family business in which our whole family enjoys being involved. We set up shop at many craft shows on the weekends throughout the year.

I enjoy being here in Tomball and working with our gifted students. I am the UIL Coordinator & DI Coordinator for Lakewood as well as for Tomball ISD and also serve on the North Harris DI Regional board.  I am also the Math Olympiad Coordinator for LES.  This summer, I also had the opportunity of serving as the Director of Camp Pursuit Summer Camp for GT

The best way to reach me is by email.  This is my 13th year working in TISD and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
