Welcome to 2nd grade! I am your new teacher, Ms. Ceballos and I'm excited to meet you. Come rested and ready to learn, we are going to have a fabulous year!
All about me:
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and attended schools in Aldine ISD. I am a proud MacArthur HS graduate, class of 1998. From a young age, I had the desire and passion to become a teacher. Sam Houston State University is where I proudly received my Bachelor in Science degree in Education in 2003. My first teaching job was in Fort Bend ISD teaching kindergarten. The following year I made a switch to Spring ISD, I taught second grade for 3 years and first grade for 2 years. Then I became a mommy and had my oldest son Aaron. I changed careers to become a stay at home mom. Within that time, I had my second son Adan. After four years of staying home, I returned back to teaching in Klein ISD, teaching 2nd grade for 4 years. This is my second year in Tomball ISD, here at Lakewood Elementary teaching second grade.
I love spending time with my boys, and I am a strong advocate for Autism education, as both of my sweet boys are on the spectrum. On our free time, we usually are building forts at home, playing on their water slide, going to a park, taking long country rides, and going shopping at Five Below (they love to go there).
Ms. Ceballos enjoys cooking, running (well kind of), shopping, spending time with family and friends, looking on Pinterest for new ideas, and attending church.
I am looking forward in providing a positive and engaging learning environment for each of my students. Teaching is my passion! I am always working hard to provide the best teaching practices and lessons, I take my students education to the highest priority.
